Job Description

I am currently seeking a London based Fullstack Developer, skilled in Angular and .Net, for my client who is a funded StartUp with a focus on the FinTech industry. This is a full time position based in Kensington, ideally to start as soon as possible.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to put your "Stamp" on the product, and influence the direction of the company through collaboration with the Head of Development (to whom you will report) and the CEO and CTO.

 

About the Company

My client is a bill and subscription management tool which is easy to integrate into any budgeting app, digital account or banking app, to increase user engagement and add a new revenue stream. Their product allows end users to organize their recurring payments and do an automatic comparison of their bills to deals on the market; the user is then able to cancel, switch or sign up to services within the app with just a few taps!

They are merging account aggregation, bill comparison and banking to give users a seamless bill management experience, through a personalized subscription store. 

 

About you

For this company, I am currently searching for highly motivated and adaptable computer scientists, specifically those competent in data science, to join the vibrant team. Creativity and capacity to learn are of utmost importance, as my client is building something that’s never been done before. You’ll play a vital role in developing strategies and hypotheses, and finally testing and proving product improvement by leveraging data.

In particular, my client and I require individuals that are unphased by daunting challenges and are motivated by the company's passion and vision.

 

What you'll be doing in the role

  • Getting familiar with the current product, understanding the architecture and the underlying technology. Also realizing the problems encountered along the way
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the purpose of the product. Also learning how and what data is collected
  • Using data knowledge, knowledge of the product and data provided to make and rigorously test hypotheses to improve the product’s performance, UX and UI
  • Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web and mobile services
  • Brainstorming ideas of how the current technology can be used to create new features and ideas about new features that could be implemented
  • Brainstorming ideas to improve the efficiency of the back-end and current technologies being employed. Also helping with implementing the solutions
  • You’ll also get the chance to get into some of the backend code and help expand our API Library; a brand-new library of API’s that’s creating the world’s first subscription store

Must Haves

  • .NET Core knowledge and experience
  • Experience using cloud services such as AWS, GCP and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with EF Core
  • Confident reading/writing REST APIs (highly important to understand how to manage many APIs)
  • Experience with Angular 2
  • Ability to read and understand other developers code, understand current technological architecture, design new architecture and finally implement it
  • Must be able to represent the company confidently, strive to deliver best tech giving value to customers, team-working skills and a passion and desire to innovate.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with micro-service architecture application
  • OAuth 2.0 (three-legged flows)
  • Security: encryption knowledge (minimum 128-bit encryption), JWT.io, Passport.js, end to end authentication (i.e. tokens)
  • Previous experience/involvement with a banking or financial app
  • UI/UX design experience

The successful candidate will have excellent communication & customer service skills, the ability to manage technical queries and provide 1st & 2nd Line support.

Software Developer

As part of a massive recruitment campaign with over 2 roles to fill, we are working with one of the leading providers for mental health, personality disorders, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and brain injuries based in the north west London area. You will be part of a new team looking to develop a new digital based software which will be looking after over 5,000 employees and 75 different hospital and care homes within the UK. Working with predominately window base technology, the client is looking for experienced Software Developer mainly in C# technology.

The client is looking for the following experience:

  • Experience as a Developer on large piece of software either on front-end, back-end or full stack development
  • Good Knowledge and experienced in major piece of programming language like C#/ Java etc.
  • Knowledge of front end programming tools like Angular 5, HTML etc.

Working with predominately window base technology, the client is looking for experienced 3rd line support engineers to help formulate the new team and provide excellent service for their end users across the country.

 

The client is looking for the following experience:

  • Experience as a sole 3rd Line Support Engineer or as a mixture between 2nd/ 3rd line support
  • Experience on troubleshooting/ querying a variety of issues on window services/ operating systems from windows 7/10/xp and window servers 2008/2012
  • Experience in working on Windows infrastructure tools/ systems such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Powershell and similar deployment/ infrastructure troubleshooitng skills
  • Familiarity on applications/ deployment systems
  • Good written/ verbal communication skills
