Senior Software Engineer
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Estimated Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months with view to extend
Flexibility: 2 days on site minimum, flexible working hours

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to design and develop high-performance Java applications.
  • Drive software solutions from conception to implementation, working closely with technical leads and analysts.
  • Serve as a point of contact for production support, resolving incidents and tickets efficiently.
  • Manage medium-sized projects or initiatives, possibly leading a small team.
  • Contribute to software development tools assessment and vendor evaluation.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Embrace our complex platform, learn rapidly, and contribute effectively to its enhancement.
  • Engage in code development, review, and daily support duties.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Java expertise with design and architecture exposure.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes, including SAFe/Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in web services (REST/SOAP) and familiarity with enterprise frameworks (Spring/JEE).
  • Experience with technologies such as Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka, and Spring framework.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and cloud software development (PCF, Azure).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.

    An award winning digital media agency is looking for an AV Installation engineer to deliver digital/AV installations in a field-based role. This role will provide exceptional service to an impressive portfolio of clients, delivering projects, solutions and support to a variety of AV equipment and systems.
    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Audio Visual equipment/Smart Home/Electrical Installation, have excellent communication skills and a keen interest in digital technology.

    Responsibilities:
    • Installation of AV equipment
    • Installation of pole mounting systems and associated bracketry
    • Diagnose and resolve any issue with AV and IT equipment
    • Maintenance and service of AV equipment
    • Have great communication skills with your colleagues and our clients
    • To produce accurate work to a high professional standard paying attention to detail
    • Completion and submission of required paperwork
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety and codes of conduct in the workplace
    • Responsible for company vehicles, tools, and stock


    Essential Criteria:
    • Minimum 2+ years’ service and installation experience (ideally within AV, but experience with Smart Home/ general Electrical Installation, kiosks, cash machines etc. will be considered)
    • Full UK driving license
    • Ability to pass a DBS check
    • A good level of English – spoken and written
    • Good timekeeping, reliability, and a professional manner
    • The ability to be flexible within a working week as shifts can change between days and nights
    • Ability to manage your own workload
    • Great communication skills
