Core Network Designer - Telecommunication Sector
Duration: 3 months rolling
Rate: £475.00 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid Working (Remote/Berkshire)
We are seeking a highly skilled Core Network Designer to join the team at a leading telecommunication provider. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting both high and low-level designs for their core network, playing a crucial role in network enhancements and ensuring optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high and low-level designs for the core network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network enhancements.
  • Analyze network requirements and propose efficient solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in designing core networks for telecommunications.
  • Proficiency in VoLTE (Voice Over LTE), IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), SBC (Session Border Controller), HLR (Home Location Register), and HSS (Home Subscriber Server).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams.
Contract Terms:
  • Duration: 3 months rolling contract.
  • Rate: £475.00 per day (Outside IR35).

    Responsibilities:
    • Installation of AV equipment
    • Installation of pole mounting systems and associated bracketry
    • Diagnose and resolve any issue with AV and IT equipment
    • Maintenance and service of AV equipment
    • Have great communication skills with your colleagues and our clients
    • To produce accurate work to a high professional standard paying attention to detail
    • Completion and submission of required paperwork
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety and codes of conduct in the workplace
    • Responsible for company vehicles, tools, and stock


    Essential Criteria:
    • Minimum 2+ years’ service and installation experience (ideally within AV, but experience with Smart Home/ general Electrical Installation, kiosks, cash machines etc. will be considered)
    • Full UK driving license
    • Ability to pass a DBS check
    • A good level of English – spoken and written
    • Good timekeeping, reliability, and a professional manner
    • The ability to be flexible within a working week as shifts can change between days and nights
    • Ability to manage your own workload
    • Great communication skills

    £40 DOE +bonus and overtime opportunities
