We are looking for an Account Manager to expand New Business with existing clients, predominantly across one of our major accounts – a multinational IT consultancy and services provider. As their partner of choice, we are expanding our talented account team to invest behind our future growth plans with them.

Your role:

Reporting to the Account Director, you will be working with our most important clients to ensure we maximise market potential. There will be a combination of onsite visits, telephone communications and general relationship management activities for our key accounts.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop sales targets with key client accounts – Land and expand!
  • Actively participate in developing relationships with existing stakeholders.
  • Acquire new stakeholders through your successes – New Business!
  • Collaborate and gather market intelligence in a structured way.
  • Suggest new ideas and keep the team abreast of changing trends / technologies and competitors within the field.
  • Meet the sales team targets, keeping focused and motivated.
  • Maintain and develop great customer relationships.
  • Travel and working onsite – within needs and accordance of your business

Skills and Experience: Essential

  • A desire to innovate and drive; always aim to achieve the best results.
  • Experience of communicating sales strategies.
  • Persuasive and personable relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to translate these into decisions
  • Previous sales experience is always a must - we will recruitment experience from any sector, or IT Sales experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000 / year – based on experience

Package: Attractive commission scheme and potential for future share options.

Experience: Sales: 2 year+ (Preferred)
