Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the role of IT Service Desk Analyst is to provide professional, high quality IT support to the Gloucestershire based office.  A member of the global IT team, with a high focus on delivering an excellent level of customer service, the Analyst will be responsible for all IT support needs of the office and will assist the central Service Desk function when required.  There will be frequent visits to London.

The Director of IT has overall responsibility for the running of the Resource and producing the IT strategy.  The IT Resource is divided into two sections which are Technical Support and Service Delivery, each containing several Teams.  The Service Delivery section provides Service Desk support and IT training.  The Technical Support section oversees and maintains the back-office structure, implements new technologies and acts as third-line support.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Providing a professional and consistent level of IT support to Cheltenham office by telephone, remote control and desk-side visits.
  • Answering customer queries, promoting use of the IT systems and conducting limited 1:1 training.
