She joined IDPP in 2011, initially working as an Account Manager alongside one of our largest clients within IT Services. Since then she has been influential in maintaining our position as a chosen resource partner.

Health and Safety Lead

Health & Safety Lead – NEBOSH, IOSH, Fibre/Cabling projects   PART-TIME ROLE

Location: Northern Ireland (remote)

Rate: c£300 per day


A new field-based requirement has arisen for a Health & Safety Lead in the Northern Ireland region.

This is a part-time role, 2.5 days per week.


The successful candidate will be responsible for all Health and Safety related requirements for the provision of fibre/cabling services delivered by the client - a Global Telecoms provider. The purpose of the role is to ensure a safe environment for employees, operational compliance with environmental regulations, and fostering a safety culture.


Key accountabilities:


Ensure and demonstrate all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements of the Managed Services Contract are fully delivered by the Managed Service team:

  • Lead on Procedure, Process, Documentation and Risk Assessment.
  • Lead site audits & inspection regime
  • Lead on risk data capture, control and trend analysis to support Performance Indicator and continuous improvement process
  • Undertake any Health, Safety or Environmental, noncompliance Investigations
  • Lead on the team competence requirements assessment and adherence
  • Assess Sub Contractors working on, or seeking to work on the contract


Knowledge and experience required:

  • Expert knowledge of Health Safety, Environment Law, including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
  • Practical experience of Safety Management System creation, delivery and monitoring.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision, while able to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, suppliers and customers.
  • Sound written, verbal and digital communication and sound diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange complex information.



  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Chartered membership of IOSH
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office suite and other tools for authoring, data collection, analysis, training and presentation delivery.


Flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland is required
