Location: Home based with travel to various sites across the UK

Immediate Voice Telephony Migration project requires a Migration Engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber and IM&P to work on client sites across the UK on a contract basis running until mid-December.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the Voice Lead for migration from legacy telephony systems to Cisco CUCM and Unity Voicemail
  • Site level deployment and migration activities as well as providing diagnosis and resolution of any incidents and providing Go Live Support
  • Liaising with the Project Manager to provide regular updates on status of migrations
  • Multi-tasking, working on simultaneous projects with tight deadlines

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Significant experience supporting voice services, including Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IM&P, Cisco Collaboration and Contact Centre portfolio and WebEx
  • Experience of user and site migrations including CUCM configuration, data gathering and use of BAT
  • Competence around creating translation patterns on CUCM to redirect directory numbers
  • CCNP/CCIE Collaboration certification highly desirable
  • Experience of working with little to no supervision, able to use own initiative
  • Strong communication and rapport building skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships
