Our client; a UK wide leader of Health Services operating in 150 centres, are seeking to expand their Service Desk Team at their Kent site providing 1st/2nd Line Technical support to their customers.

This fantastic permanent opportunity would suit an IT Support Professional who is passionate about delivering the highest quality IT Support through the delivery of excellent customer service and would like to continue their career within this environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a centralised ICT Service Desk, acting as the first point of contact for all ICT support queries whether it be via phone, email or face to face.
  • To provide the highest level of 1st and 2nd line user support, both technical and non-technical, to new and existing Clinical and Administrative members of staff across the Group, this may include areas of system training using remote tools, in person or a group.
  • To assist in maintaining and developing the positive reputation of the team and of ICT and where possible create and sustain proactive links with ward staff, hospital management and other departments across the group.
  • Undertake any reasonable request within own competencies and understanding.
  • Ensure the security of data and adhere to policies & procedures.
  • Provide any additional support to any team member as required.

Knowledge/ Experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in ICT industry
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable network environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 & 10
  • Basic understanding of WAN and LAN technologies
  • Use of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
  • Installation and configuration of Microsoft Office production applications
  • Configuration of Microsoft Outlook from an end user prospective
  • Installation of both local and network printers
  • Good broad working knowledge of computer and network connectivity technologies at the hardware level.
  • Experience of configuring and supporting mobile phones

The role is part of a multi-site team working with Customers, ESN Suppliers, UK Managed Services and other internal/external stakeholders.

•             Design of Technical Security measures to support and enforce the ESN service security policies

Test Lead

£350 - £400

Location: Basingstoke / London

We are looking for an experienced Security Testing Lead to join our UKMS team.

The Role

ESN Services organisation require a Security Test Lead to join their Information Security Transformation Programme working closely with the ESN Operations Security Director and ESN CISO.

As Information Security Test Lead, you will oversee all aspects of our security testing programme, including scope definition, supplier engagement, planning, testing execution, reporting and remediation tracking. This includes the implementation and application of project procedures, tools and techniques. You will provide support to your security team, and act as a source of testing information and metrics.

You will be part of the Security Team, engaged to work with a talented security specialist working on the ESN programme. This represents a unique opportunity to lead on numerous testing activities and would suit an enthusiastic and committed test professional keen to make a real and valued contribution to a significant project.

We are looking for a Security Test Lead, to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to cover numerous activities such as:

●             Understanding the contract deliverables

●             Engaging with Security Architects

●             Defining an security testing scope

●             Engaging with the Customer

●             Engaging with 3rd Party suppliers as ESN Pen Test Framework

●             Planning of all preparatory tasks

●             Working closely to support external Pen Testers

●             Reviewing and communicating ITHC reports internally and to the client

●             Defining a Remedial Plan

●             Engaging with the MSI core business, to ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed and tracked

●             Production of testing metrics

 

This role is based out of our London and Basingstoke offices on a contract basis, with a degree of flexibility around travel required. All candidates must minimally be eligible for SC clearance. 

System Engineer

£350 - £400

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our UKMS team. You will be tasked with solving design challenges and implementing solutions to problems to create secure critical infrastructure systems and software projects across our business. Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding the customer's business, building trust and providing cyber security expertise across security designs, product selection.

 

The Information security engineer will provide specialist information security support across the ESN Programme and pursuits within the Business, delivering effective information security solutions integrated within complex information systems and sub-systems, providing documentation and evidence to support security approval and accreditation activities within the programme context.

The Role

●             Deploying, configuring and operating security toolsets.

●             Assist in the timely integration of information assurance activities with system engineering, design, manufacturing and support programmes.

●             Engaging with stakeholders, engineering teams and sub-contractors to provide direction, guidance and support on acceptable and balanced information security solutions.

●             Liaison with customers, accreditors and technical authorities.

●             Development of security processes and procedures to operate tooling effectively

●             Providing security documentation and evidence to meet Home Office security accreditation requirements.

About You:

Essentials:

●             Knowledge and understanding of Government information security policy, standards and guidance.

●             Experience in generation of information security Risk Assessments, Risk Treatment Plans and Risk Management and Accreditation Documents.

●             Demonstrable experience with modern security toolsets and techniques, including SIEM, Vulnerability Management, build standards, secure remote access solutions and PKI solutions.

●             Information assurance experience across the Systems Engineering, Development Life-cycle preferred but not essential.

●             Understanding of systems and security verification, validation, testing and evaluation approaches, including HMG Information Assurance schemes and processes.

General:

●             Experience of product / systems development environment.

●             Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

●             Ability to work with limited day-to-day supervision, must know when to seek assistance.

●             Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt depending on audience

●             Ability to discern the key technical, commercial, and programme influences from available ‘noisy’ information

●             Ability to contribute to schedule adherence, and technical performance trade-offs

●             Systems thinker and systems engineering experience.
