A large Managed IT Services Provider requires an experienced Technical Architect to work on their end clients site based in Manchester on a 3 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing VMWare solutions as well as updating and migrating VMWare platforms and the wider IT estate.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in a hands-on Technical Architect role working on VMWare projects
  • Deep understanding of VMWare, Windows and Active Directory
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and senior management

This role would be a perfect fit for a Technical Architect who enjoys being very hands-on and has a strong background Designing and Implementing projects within VMWare.

A large Managed IT Service Provider has an urgent requirement for an enthusiastic, customer service focussed Service Desk Engineer to join their busy team based on their end clients site at Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Professional with excellent communication skills who loves to be kept busy to work on a busy service desk.   

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing both deskside and remote support to users
  • Timely resolution of IT related problems within specified SLA’s
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems and configuring PCs
  • Installing, upgrading and replacing core hardware and software
  • Escalating any issues when required to Second/Third Line Support

To be considered you will need:

  • Proven experience within an IT Service Desk role
  • Good all-round IT Knowledge
  • Good ITIL knowledge and able to work within SLAs
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • A real passion for delivering excellent customer service
