Our worldwide leading client requires a Cloud Security Engineer for an initial 6 month contract beginning from Janaury 2019. 

The Cloud Security Engineer’s role is to ensure the security cloud hosted applications are securely configured to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information processed.

The Cloud Security Engineer will assess the security configurations of the AWS, Azure, SAP and other relevant cloud environments against industry benchmarks, test for known vulnerabilities and support the business complete PCI Data Security Standard Self Assessment Questionnaires.

Skills & Experience

  • Hands on experience with AWS
  • Good understanding of how to build API’s and RESTful web services
  • Good unit testing skills
  • Log aggregation tools and techniques, analysis and reporting
  • Vulnerability management and analysis, including patching and remediation strategies

Location: Manchester

Salary: £400 per day

Days: FT Monday – Friday 

Contract Duration: 3 months contract initially (potential to extend)

Our Manchester based Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work on various projects at their site in South Manchester.

The successful candidate will be expected to have worked extensively in their career history on previous projects using OBIEE, OBIA, SQL, along with having AWS knowledge. 

Responsibilities:

  • Taking on various projects as an experienced Business Analyst – ability to ‘hit the ground running’
  • Analysing business solutions
  • Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
  • Presenting information through reports and visualization
  • Problem solving and assisting others with their challenges
  • Requirements gathering and interfacing between the business and technical colleagues
  • Capture requirements, define them, document them.
  • Focused BI, ideally with Tableau / Oracle experience

Experience with projects including the following technologies are advantageous:

  • OBIEE, OBIA (10g / 11g)
  • Oracle Data Integrator (12C)
  • Tableau
  • Business Intelligence Projects
