Gigamon Network Engineer - GigaVUE-HC1 and HC2 models (International Contract)

Location choices: Germany - Ratingen, Italy - Milan, or Ireland - Dublin

Salary: TBC

Days: FT Monday – Friday 

Contract Duration: 12 months

  • You need to have Cisco Nexus and Juniper experience
  • Strong evidential experience of GigaVUE-HC1 and HC2 models

IT Trainer

£25000 - £35000

The role of IT Trainer is to deliver high quality classroom, one to one and remote training to staff of all levels and to actively promote the use of IT applications and technologies. There will also be a requirement to assist with course development and documentation.

This is a fixed term contract working 3 days per week for a period of 6 months to deliver new starter induction training and support the IT Training team during an exciting period of change with the implementation of the new Practice Management System.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities (this is a broad but not exhaustive list):

·         Conducting classroom,  one to one and remote training sessions with all CRS offices

·         Occasional travel to Guildford and Cheltenham offices to assist with training requirements 

·         Training and support on all aspects of software and supported equipment 

·         Floor walking on a regular basis to provide desk side assistance 

·         Promoting IT software by means of demonstrations and floor walking

·         Creating high quality supporting courseware including workbooks, manuals, quick reference guides

·         Creating e-learning material

·         Ensuring good practice is adhered to consistently for all IT training solutions

·         Maintaining accurate training records

·         Provide back-up support to the IT Service Desk

·         Participate actively in meetings as appropriate

·         Assist in assessing user requirements and work processes and tailoring training courses for practical adoption

·         Other training related activities as required 

Technical Skills: 

·         Strong technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite with Word and Excel to Expert level

·         Experience of providing Windows 10 training

·         Knowledge of Worksite Document Management System

·         Knowledge of IntApp Time and InterAction

·         Experience of Bighand Digital Dictation and Speech Recognition an advantage

Knowledge of working with a Learning Management System 

VOICE ENGINEER - C20, DMS100 (London OR Birmingham)

£400 - £450

A leading IT Service provider has opportunities for experienced Voice Engineers with career history working with the following technologies:   

  • C20
  • System X
  • DMS100 configuration
  • Data fill

This is for a customer project within the Telecoms sector, and it would suit someone keen to bring these skills used in past projects, to a long-term contract assignment working with a Global network operator. Successful applicants will join a team of Voice Engineers with a range of skills in the above technologies; the new team members will compliment this team on a brand new project.  

Location is flexible to Birmingham or London.

IT Technician

£20000 - £23000


The role of the IT Technician is to keep computer systems in top working condition and support the users who have problems with their computers. The systems vary from the general users laptops and mobiles through to aspects of the Company's SharePoint sites and networking equipment.


The role will require the individual to perform the following major tasks and duties:


•       Talk to users over the phone or via email to provide solutions to technical problems;

•       Set up and configure new laptops and mobile equipment for users;

•       Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify clients issues;

•       Provide users accurate information on IT products and services;

•       Implement and improve technical procedures effective in quickly addressing users’ problems to minimize downtime;

•       Educate users on procedures for resolving or preventing recurrence of a technical problem;

•       Explain and provide IT solutions to users in non-technical and comprehensible terms;

•       Prepare and present reports to update management on IT support operations;

•       Operate and work with equipment such as Laptop, PCs (windows based), network equipment and Mobiles;

•       Configure and troubleshoot applications such as SharePoint, Word online and MS Outlook;

•       Perform scheduled maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations;

•       Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system; 

•       Administer software licenses, including raising order to renew licenses.

Additional Skills and Competencies

The successful candidate will be able to shows evidence of an aptitude for problem solving and working with computers. Also important will be that the individual is a reliable, trustworthy individual, who is keen to learn from more senior colleagues and support the Company's ongoing success by providing excellent IT support to users. UK Government security clearance would be an asset.

The following qualifications in ICT will be accepted as evidence of an aptitude for ICT:

•       ICT GCSE;

•       ICT A Level;

•       Degree in Computer Science;

•       City and Guilds Advanced Diploma in IT Systems Support;

•       BCS Certificate in IT.

Infrastructure Project Manager


Senior Project Manager £72,000-Bonus

My client is a technology services provider; supporting its customers through the complex lifecycle of their assets from acquisition through to retirement. Due to expansion they are looking for a senior project manager to join their team.

About the role

The successful candidate will be focused on delivering defined projects to our end customers. The projects will vary from short to multi-year projects based on customer sites. The size and complexity of projects can be different and may require resource management oversight.

This role would suit someone with extensive experience of infrastructure projects, DC migration, work load migrations and decommissioning projects.

You will be primarily in London or the South East although some flexibility in location/travel is required to meet customer’s needs.



  • Project managing to the agreed time, quality and cost parameters for the project within a Prince 2 framework.
  • Agreeing the scope of the project during project start-up and capturing changes and seeking approval (if different to the original scope of work) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Able to frame a project in commercial terms to achieve the best outcome.
  • Ensuring the agreed project controls are in place, managing and updating stakeholders and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ownership of the customer relationship during the project
  • Creation and ownership of a project plan and agreeing committed delivery dates with the customer
  • Ensuring all agreed milestone dates are accurately maintained and reflected in the appropriate management tools
  • Ensure both customer and companies reporting processes and cycles are followed
  • Manage Risks, issues (along with mitigation), actions and dependencies
  • Oversight and management of project tasks
  • Schedule, host and attend customer meetings as and when required
  • Scope management; to manage customer expectations, control change and negotiate compromise.
