Senior Project Manager – NHS

Senior Project Manager, Prince2, NHS

We are working with a London-based NHS Trust to recruit for a Senior Project Manager on a fixed term (18 months) contract basis. This is a multi-faceted role with responsibility for leading a wide range of large scale, complex projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Promote project objectives and benefits to all staff throughout the Trust
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within Prince2 standards
  • Provide regular updates on project progress through reports and project management meetings
  • Effectively communication any project issues through the correct channels
  • Matrix managing a variety of staff including project managers and 3rd party contractors
  • Negotiation with suppliers as required
  • Managing financial expenditure by maintaining an accurate an up to date cost tracker against project budget  
  • Handover the project to the relevant departments within the Trust as well as 3rd party suppliers effectively and within the Trust’s standards  

To be considered we are looking for:

  • Strong Senior Project Management experience, ideally within the NHS
  • Prince2 certification
  • Experience of leading and managing large scale, complex projects
  • Proven leadership skills
  • An adaptable, confident and resilient personality
