Job Description

My client is a leading software house within the healthcare industry. They are looking for an experienced application support engineer to join their development team in Cambridge.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical support role, ideally in software or IT related products. They will be eager to learn, and happy to step into a standalone application support role, within a team of developers. They will have the ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with team members to ensure alignment when handling issues. There is some European travel required, up to 20%.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows and Unix OS
  • Knowledge of HTTPS, AS2, SFTP protocols
  • Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MSSQL, Oracle
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and to learn quickly
  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Team player who lives our Company Values
