GENERAL FUNCTION

 

The E Commerce Content & Marketing Manager will support the WWW EU Ecommerce organisation by managing the content and marketing for all of the brand sites. This person possesses a solid grasp of digital marketing, user experience best practices, knowledge of online creative and multimedia production, and an understanding of online analytics.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Partner cross-functionally ensuring that WWW EU E Commerce content meets the overall brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Manage the Marketing team to develop the appropriate messaging and content requirements and manage the end to end creative development including coordinating briefs, asset requirements, translations, launches, data entry, QA and approvals. Find scalability/efficiency opportunities, ensure that updates are prioritised and delivered on time.
  • Manage each site's online marketing calendar and work with the E Commerce team to ensure that online touchpoints are integrated from an execution and reporting standpoint. Update and make revisions to marketing calendars in coordination with E Commerce marketing.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure that the sites appropriately reflect the key product stories and are aligned with overall sales plans. Ensure the product content is displayed and translated correctly.
  • Writing entertaining and informative search engine optimised copy.
  • Targeting keywords set by the online marketing manager and basing articles around them.
  • Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
  • Assisting the online marketing manager with ad-hoc copywriting.
  • Repurposing content for different mediums including social media and video.
  • Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
  • Training the ecommerce team on how to use the website content management system.

  • Relevant general Marketing and Content experience
  • Understanding of and a passion for digital marketing and E Commerce

Typical Deliverables

Within the role you will be responible for

  • Acting as an internal technical escalation point and to be able to mentor/coach internal resources. To train internal staff on workstreams. To devise and deliver training programs and support documentation for Operations.
  • Developing High level designs from customer requirements
  • Developing Low level designs for the Technical Specialists to implement projects within the workstream’s area of expertise.
  • Assisting in the design of Proof of Concept scenarios, Type Approval activities.
  • Attending Client and interface meetings as required
  • Create and deliver: technical presentations, solution demonstrations, solution design/configuration, and proposal development
  • Taking a lead in defining value add projects and to assist in delivering the projects as a Technical leader.
  • Seeking continuous improvement for the design elements of the HPC project through the introduction of new and innovative approaches and technologies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct Supervision of Civils, Cable and Fibre teams
  • Liaising with Fibre Planners to agree any proposed design changes 
  • Ensure Installation Quality meets the end clients standards as well as ensure works is completed according to Health and Safety legislature and safe working practices
  • Carry out regular audits e.g. Network, Installation Quality, Health and Safety Compliance, ODF, Cable Tracing and Patch Cord Identification  
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a point of contact for customer representatives and supply chain

Our South Manchester client requires two Network Deployment Engineers to support a comms room remediation project.

This project is part of a number of exciting pieces of work that are ongoing on the end client site.

  • The purpose of the Audit is to identify existing use and how they can utilise in the migration.
  • To install 2 no UTP Cables from the existing FID Switch port and the patch panel.
  • The 2 no UTP will run from a location that has been identified as a suitable location to house the hardware.
  • All work will be within the vicinity of the existing data cabinet.
  • To migrate the FID Client from old location to new.
  • To migrate power supply from old PDU to new PDU (already installed)

The audit phase of the project will see both consultants work a standard UK working day, once the migration is underway the project will include some non out of hours work.

About the Role

This position will provide operational support to our client's managed service customer's network. The role will involve resolution and diagnosis of network and system faults at a 2nd line support level.
