Job Purpose Summary:

The Scheduler will be an expanding role and their duties will change and develop to meet our ever-changing Customer’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Planned Maintenance Visits with Major Clients and specific Service Engineers

My client is a leading managed service provider, with over 20 years’ experience of delivering IT services to a wide range of customers across many markets and geographies. They are looking for an experienced Networking and Security Consultant to join their Operations department.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience-based knowledge of Networking & Security (including specifically vendors such as Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Dell, HP and Ruckus). You will be experienced in creating designs and advising at the pre-sales stage on the Networking & Security elements of a project, including detailed kit-lists of items required for deployment of the designed solution. The candidate should be experienced in deployment to specification or standard and documenting the solutions installed including any deviations from the standard or design, as well as experienced in installing switching/routing/wireless and perimeter security for complex medium-sized corporate networks.

Within the role, there will be regular travel to client sites (occasionally overseas).
