Our History
We are a privately owned SME with every employee belonging to that ownership group. Originally founded in the 1980’s as DPP standing for “Data Processing People”, we initially focussed on data entry staff. By 2000, data entry was dying as an application and the Company was bought by John Holmes, our current Chairman, who developed us, under the idpp brand, as a recruitment company specialising in the supply of both freelance contract and permanent staff to the IT and Telco industries throughout the UK and Europe.
In recent years, however, as well as continuing our recruitment activities, we have moved progressively into the provision of fixed-price project, work package and managed service solutions which now account for some 75% of our annual sales.
