Pay up to 45k (depending on experience)


Qualifications for the role

  • Essential - Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Essential - Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientism
  • Desirable - Broad knowledge of SharePoint, CAFM systems and associated tools – InfoPath and Nintex
  • Desirable - Experience in implementing efficient IT systems which are ergonomically designed and lead to greater productivity


What is needed for the role:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling)
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft BI)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
  • Knowledge of the design and implementation of business process on top of IT systems
  • Understanding the process mapping and process reengineering techniques and demonstrable application thereof
  • IT Skills – Excellent working knowledge of databases and reporting
  • Inquisitive by nature, able to challenge the norm and seeks to drive improvement through evidence and using soft skills combined with data to build advocacy
  • Organised – ability to plan, prioritise and delegate where required

What the role will consist of:

  • Successfully delivery of system changes to customers
  • Managing the continued successful use and operations of CAFM systems e.g. SharePoint, Maximo, Concept and SSRS’s etc
  • Providing the project/customer with relevant data, information and knowledge to assist them in making informed decisions
  • Assisting the customer with the implementation of any initiatives.
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining business intelligence solutions
  • Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
  • Creation and presenting information through reports and visualisation
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Develop and update technical documentation

The role is responsible to the IM/IT Manager in delivering:

  • Canvas customer needs for information which assists the team to make informed decisions
  • Identification of useful data which assists the team making informed decisions
  • Development of business and systems, processes and interfaces to capture useful data
  • Establishment of reports and dashboards which effectively flag opportunities and problems
  • Creation of acceptable plans which deliver these reports and dashboards
  • Execution of plans leading to the implementation of reports and dashboards
  • Development and execution of test plans as agreed with stakeholders
  • Maintenance, monitoring and support of systems, processes and interfaces to ensure they continue to work effectively
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are delivered and sustained
  • Ensuring client satisfaction with agreed outcomes and best practice methodology
  • Verification and agreement with client of savings/benefits delivered
  • Assist in development and delivery of tools/processes which support business and projects goals
  • Tracking and on time delivery of proposed initiative deliverables, captured in weekly reporting
  • Representing Best Practice in support of KBR Property Solutions Supply Chain Centre of Excellence maintaining an Operations Manual for all service arrangements.

Days: Working on a shift rota basis Monday - Sunday (5 days a week)

Hours: Shifts within hours of: 7am – 8pm Monday – Saturday / Sunday 7am-3pm

NOC Technician

Our client; A market leading network and communications service provider requires an experienced customer focused NOC Technician to provide operational support to specific customer networks based at their Baskingstoke site.

This will suit a pro active and current NOC Technician within level 2 (preferably) who has excellent communication skills and experience working on IP Networks/ Data and has a qualified CCNP and/or JNCIS Qaulification.


Job Duties:

  • Resolution and diagnosis of network and system faults at a 2nd line support level through proactive alarm management and technically escalated Service Desk faults.. Monitor and action the trouble ticket queues on a daily basis in a timely and professional manner. Take ownership of complex investigations and work closely with 3rd line Technical Support.
  • Provide operational assistance to all areas of Service Operations, mentor and train members of the NOC and Service Desk.
  • Monitoring the network performance, highlighting any deficiencies through the appropriate channels via network health checks and statistical analysis.

Network Design engineer

Network Design Engineer – Surveying, Connectivity, Topology

A leading provider of IT Services and Solutions requires a Network Design Engineer for a customer project based in Winchester. The successful candidate will join a team large network transformation programme for a large telecoms client, and will be required to provide site designs to identify where new network infrastructure is required. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside two leading organisations on a high profile  project.

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to be SC cleared, or be able to obtain this.


  • Identify network connectivity options across sites within the customer network – define high and low level IP network topology for each site; allocate router and switch interfaces for services, and relevant IP addressing and VLANS for WAN & LAN connectivity.
  • Deliver proposals for equipment locations – racking, cable routes, power schematics.
  • Pre-build configuration to support WAN and LAN connectivity onto new routers/switches prior to installation.
  • Pre-build configuration onto existing routers & switches in the core network to provide WAN connectivity to customer sites.
  • Microwave Link Management.
  • Drive improvements in technical and service performance by providing technical knowledge around network infrastructure performance.



  • Strong knowledge of cisco switches and routers.
  • Experience of planning network connectivity.
  • Experience identifying physical rack layouts, cable installs and power requirement.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work with users at all levels and colleagues/stakeholders on a Global basis.
